Anyone with crohn's disease?

hey everyone i was diagonsed with crohn's disease and i had to take pregnisone pills for a while and the pills made me gain a lot of weight. my doctor told me that i needed to lose some weight and to try to fight the prenisone off of me, and he also said that i couldn't eat any veggies or fruits ...so i was thinking how can i lose or tone up my body weight, if i can't eat them? is there another way to do so, because it is said in order to tone your body or lose weight you have to eat right? what can i do, what are some things that i can do? thank you

Tell me about it!
Well what you do is eat melon, banana smoothies made with soy milk, peeled apples, pear, grapes, plums, apricots, raisins, peeled cucumber. I added eggs and mashed potato.

Dr David Klein also recommends exercising too.
I've been through all this recently, so try eating in smaller amounts, and carry snacks such as raisins.
You can do it.

Problems with intestines. do a search.

It's hard to do with the steroids that are usually involved with this disease and the treatments given. There are other things that you can do, but yes the combination of a good diet and exercise are key. Talk to a dietician and get some advise.

my friend had the same problem....its pretty muhc eat like u normally do minus the beggies and fruits obviously....try to lay off the carbs. too. just stay on a healthy deit and exercise as often as possible..hope u get better. =)
