How can I lose weight with Crohn's Disease? |
I've had Crohn's Disease for about 2 years now, and in the beginning I lost a ton of weight during flare-ups, but now my metabolism has become so low that I only gain weight... has anyone had any success with losing weight on Crohn's Disease? I agree with haze. Although I do not have crohn's I have something else that requires steroids, and I hate them fighting with cronhs disease is a big survival, if you are taking steroids this is one of the side effects and having this disease, gaining weight is also one of the symptoms, try to take small meals 6x a day. Try Weight Watchers. It gives you a large variety of foods to choose from...actually you can eat anything you want...you just keep track of points. It's really alot easier than it sounds. I've been on it for 6 months and lost over 30 pounds....and I've tried every diet there is. Weight Watchers is the only one that I've been successful with. |
