Can you still get cramps while you are pregnant? |
My hubby and I have been TTC #1 for 8 months. About 2 weeks ago I experienced some spotting that I am hoping was implantation bleeding, but I don't know yet. Well for the past couple of days I have been getting light cramps that feel like period cramps. But these cramps are a little different because they will come in spurts. For example, I will feel okay and then I will have the cramps for maybe 30 minutes and then feel okay again. Then maybe 2 hours later I will get the cramps again for about 20 minutes. It has been happening everyday for the past couple of days. My AF is due within the next 7-10 days. Can this happen during pregnancy or is my AF coming and just acting goofy this month??? Keep in mind that the cramps are not painful, I can feel them but they are very light. Aww... Azias, your answer made me cry! Sounds like D-Day may be sooner than you think =) if your baby is due that soon you're probably experiencing contractions, same thing happened to me yes you will have cramps for the nexts 30 weeks it is along ride you got there good luck having your baby it is part of being pregnant i went thur all my wife 3 children in listen to my daughter complain about cramps for 9 months so there you go You should check with a doctor. It may be a urinary tract infection, ectopic pregnancy among other things. Dont wanna rain in your parade but the 1st thing you will learn as a mommy is if you dont know or are not sure consult your physician! Since this is irregular for you it wont hurt to check and be safe. Good luck! Yes it is normal! In fact this is perfect timing for it :o) Hormones released after implantation cause cramps as the ligaments in your uterus start stretching. Initially this is due to bloating and then alternately it will as baby grows. I had cramps a week before my period was due and spotting before that and right now I am looking at my beautiful 9 month old daughter! It really sounds like this could be your month! yes it is getting time and be safe get doctor check up you might come around before you know it be safe get checked. I've heard from different women that they do feel cramps some women doesn't. but you better check with the doctor to make sure everything is all right. Hi...I experienced the cramps you are talking about! They are very common in early pregnancy. The cramping is from your tendons stretching in your pelvis. It can happen for a couple weeks...it can really hurt at times. It's all to make room for the baby! I hope this helped! And hopefully congratulations are in order! When you get cramps when your pregnant it's usually a sign that your uterus is accommodating what's going on in there! Have you taken any tests yet? i think you should visit your doctor ASAP |
