If you dont have cramps is that bad?

durring my period i get like one or two cramps. the other day my friend was having really really bad cramps and one of my other friends said thats ur eggs exploding. i said i dont get cramps so i dont carry stuff around or i would give u some to help. my other friend(not the one having cramps) said u dont have cramps so ur gonna have a hard time getting pregnant. Is it true that im gonna have a hard time getting pregnant bc i dont get cramps?

Okay, your eggs don't "explode". Some women notice slight cramping when an egg is released from the fallopian tubes. Others don't. Some when experience cramping when a fertilized egg implants into the uterus. Others don't. Some women experience cramping when they have a period due to water retention and the uterus contracting to expel the shed uterine lining. And again others do not. It has absolutely no bearing on your fertility. Just consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

absolute rubbish. you are just lucky not to get them.. you're friends are probably jealous as they suffer and you don't and are giving you lies to make you feel bad.

don't listen. you're fine!!

No, it's not true at all.

No, you just happen to be lucky for now. I didn't have any cramps or odd bleeding, or anything like that, right up til I was around 40. I had friends and sisters who went through severe pain and yucky periods, and I just kept quiet, because I guess I felt really lucky, really. However, things changed when I got older, but it wasn't because of that.

No!!!! What a silly, she's just jealous because you don't get cramps. I never had them, either, and I have a four-year-old. We're just lucky.

Please know, there is no relationship between how severe your menstrual cramps are and your ability to conceive. Consider yourself to be one of the lucky ones to not have such severe cramps. It's not uncommon to have bad cramps but there are many others who don't suffer much at all with them. It's also not unusual to have some months with a lot of pain and other months with very little. As with many things, our periods are very much individual and there is a great deal of variation as you're finding out amongst your friends. Also to clarify...your eggs are not "exploding". When you ovulate(usually about 14 days before your period starts) your egg is released from the ovary and travels down the fallopian tube where it can be fertilized if you're sexually active. If it doesn't get fertilized then it just kind of disintegrates and leaves your body as part of the menstrual flow. I am glad that you asked this question so that you could get some clarity about how our bodies work. There are lots of myths out there. Hope this helps!

wow
your so lucky
you don't get cramps
your friends are how old ?

Not every woman gets cramps. No, cramps are not your eggs exploding. When you have a period it is because your ovary releases an egg to your uterus where a bunch of blood collects up to pretty much feed a fetus if the egg gets fertilized but if the egg does not get fertilized all of that blood comes out of your body and the egg comes out with that blood. Some women get cramps because their blood is thicker or clots thicker than other womens blood. If you are not getting cramps you are so lucky. I don't get them everytime either. As far as the pregnancy thing as you can see after how I have explained things that is not true either. Your friends should as well as you and I don't mean this to sound mean should take a sex ed class so that you can learn about all of this or even do some research online. Your friends have it all wrong. I am 28 years old and I have been having periods for a while now. so, I have knowledge of the subject.

that is sooo not true! ask you mom!
