Cosmetic surgery to replace a toenail?

My niece lost her big toenail 8 years ago. She was told it would never grow back and that is true so far. Does anyone know of a cosmetic surgery way to add a toenail besides the usual glue on nail thing?

A toe nail is just a nail, it will grow back. It's not like a finger that won't grow back. OUCH! be patient, you should grow a new one

I don't know of any cosmetic surgery...but you can paint it (with fingernail polish) to look just like a toenail. And...it is very unlikely that it will grow back. I've had both of mine surgically removed.

why replace it?
I have had surgery on both big toe nails and only am left with 1/2 of one and 1/4 of the other their is no need to replace it i also have a family member who has had his big toe nail removed and has had it that way for 15 or so yrs

It really makes no differance
