What is considered cosmetic dentistry?

i would like porcelian fillings and a implant for one of my back teeth is this considered cosmetic and should i wait to have this done when my braces come off?

Any dentistry that improves your looks is considered cosmetic. I'd wait til braces are off and talk to dentist. Implants are very expensive, btw. Porcelain crowns are costly, too...I know...just spent $7600 for tops and $3500 for bottoms! But am happy to have a nice white smile now!

Fillings in back teeth shouldn't be considered cosmetic, because you'd usually be the only one to see them.
If the braces are anchored to your back teeth you're probably going to have to wait.
