How poor children's diet affects tooth development?

How poor children's diet affects tooth development?

Your child must have a balanced diet for his teeth to develop properly. He also needs a balanced diet for healthy gum tissue around the teeth. Equally important, a diet high in certain kinds of carbohydrates, such as sugar and starches, may place your child at extra risk of tooth decay.
Children are really hard to control especially to keep them away from refusing sweet tempting foods. Kids should be properly guided with dental and oral hygiene properly. Good and healthy eating, plus the complement of frequent cleaning of teeth after eating and regular dental check up are the composition of proper dental health care that is very essential to maintaining healthy teeth, avoiding tooth decay and disease gum. http://www.themouthdoctor.com/dentalheal... will help you further.

children need a healthy diet which is essential for all their health requirements. Plenty of dairy products like milk cheese and yoghurt is full of calcium and makes their bones strong. children that have a poor diet especially those that have lots of sugar stand a very good chance of getting tooth decay as the sugar causes cavaties.

Alot of children drink bottle water now adays and they are also getting more cavities.. theres a corilation. Tap water has florid added into it which somehow protects the enamel of the teeth (im not quite sure how.) alot of toothpaste have that in it now so it should help a little bit.
just stay away from the candy and pop.. and eat more natural foods like fruits and vegtables.

Lack of calcium, phosphorus, Calium, Iron, and a host of other minerals in childrens diet will effect teeth growth and formation.
