Thinking about joining Gold's Gym. They are the only gym in my area offering child care.?

I have heard that it is more a place for fitness guru's. It is important that I feel comfortable in an enviroment I am not used to so that I will feel motivated. Do I get one on one time with a trainer to assist and advise me once a week?

I've heard good things about Gold's Gym and if it is the most convienent place for you and your child, I would at least check it out. They might let you look around before joining, but you might be suprised the number of excercisers who arent' "fitness guru's". It would probably good to work one on one with a trainer to get used to the excercise machines. Once you learn your way around and what to do, you might need less and less advisement but yeah, once a week sounds good.

You should talk to one of your local gym staff...

If you request it, yes. Also, they do not seem to charge many of the unnecessary fees that other gyms do.
