I was just hired at a child care center and I need to get a physical.I just moved Kankakee County, illinois..

and I do not know where to find a CHEAP place to get it done. Preferably under 50 dollars.

Local community clinics, call 2-1-1 and ask where they might be.....depending on your income look into some state programs...there are so many options I learned about in the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz...I recommend picking one up at your local Barnes and Noble and reading it!!!!! There are about 224 pages of websites, and simple suggestions on how to save money in healthcare....you can find out someof these now and use it when you have to choose a doctor as well as health insurance.

Walk-in clinics can do routine physicals. They vary in price, depending on where you go/live. Look in the local yellow pages for one and shop around. Good luck with the ankle-biters :P

Call the Provena hospital in Kankakee and ask for a referral. They can help you find someone to go to and you can call around and find out who is the cheapest.
