Following orthodontic "care" child has good many yellow splotch areas (outside areas of braces).....help! |
Dentist states nothing can be done other than regular cleaning from his office care. Can you be a little more precise? they are stains due to food build up around the brackets. short of bleaching, not a whole lot you can do. sorry. that's why proper brushing is stressed so much. Dentist is right - it's because your child didn't take good enough care of his/her teeth while the braces were on. There's a reason they make such a fuss about good oral care when you have braces - it's to avoid problems like these. The only thing you could consider is professional teeth whitening. |
