Forced second hand smoking, is it child abuse? |
If a parent smokes in the car while a child is in there is it child abuse? Definitely should be laws against this! No child should have to breathe in second hand smoke- it's cruel. Parents with any sense wouldn't smoke around their kids. yes No, there is no rule to define it as a child abuse. Second hand smoke is a fallacy. And do you really want to government interferring in your life more than they already do? child abuse?? this is really a big world for such an act "second hand smoking" I beleive it is child abuse! I've never looked at it that way... You should go into law. It is cosidered child abuse because you are polluting your child's lungs with second hand smoke. Second hand smoke is more harmful to a person, than the one that is actually smoking. Yes, anyone who smokes around children should be "hurt." Should there be laws to protect children from 2nd hand smoke? Absolutely ... however, there are so many existing laws that are not enforced already that it wouldn't be worth the time and effort. Time would be better spent educating parents. |
