What was the worst case of child abuse in history? |
After reading "A Child Called It" I have been interested in learning more about Child Abuse...what was the worst case of child abuse in history? Unfortunately there are far too many to pick one out as the worst. To the child it is the one that is hap penning now. I'm sure there are many that were never recorded, but the story of Sybil is pretty disturbing. What does it matter!!? Any type of abuse is the worst!! I think there's too many to count. In our area a girl was placed with foster parents who had her starving in a cooler in the backyard. When the authorities came to do their routine check ups on the girl, the family borrowed a neighbor kid to pretend she was the foster kid. Meanwhile th baby is dead in a garbage bag in the cooler. They had starved her. My Mother once sent me (a boy) to kindergarten in a pink shirt. (This was back when "real" boys NEVER wore pink!) |
