LACERATION TO THE RIGHT LOB, can it be caused by a fall, not by child abuse? |
A friend of my is being charge of child abuse becuase his girl friend son had brusies on his right adoman and had a laceration to the right lob to his liver. My friend has a BA in human development and is a kindergarten teacher never been in trouble. A great husband and Christian role model also worked for socail services.I know he would not hurt a fly. Could this happen do to a fall? The child doesn't drink milk and hardly eats meat. He is very fair skin and bruises easly. The child hardly walks do to he is 15 months year old. He was in the hospital for only 2 days and did not have sergery or they never gave him medicen. All they did was give him a IV." salt water" PLEASE HELP HE IS A GREAT GUY I KNOW HE DID NOT DO IT , COULD it have BEEN FROM A FALL OR DO TO SICKNESS ,the child never got his one year old shots also. A tear to the liver can be done by a hard fall, especially if the child is very thin. Your friend should get the child seen by an abuse specialist and get a second opinion. Sounds like it could be due to a fall. I suppose it could be due to a fall but it would've been one hell of a fall. Anyway i do not think it matters that your friend has a BA or is a kindergarten teacher. Abusers come in all shapes and sizes. NO one but him knows if he abused the child. Never think that someone you know isn't capable of something horrific they just might surprise you! |

Not enough. ...If you are asking the question, you know the answer... yes. A child needs their parents to do the right things for them. Not to do the things that makes it easy. Children need limits, not fries... ... Use www.rainn.org. I'm a survivor too, they helped me find local resources. Also, they helped me find a place to get training to become a hotline and hospital advocate at a local rape crisi... you might have PTSD...i know it's horrible to witness that i get very upset that's one of the reasons i stopped eating meat b/c of animal cruelty... just try to think of it as something ... I do believe it is illeagal for them to be closer than 1,000 feet of a school . The distance I'm not postive about but they certainly are not permitted on school grounds. ...I totally agree with you 100% I think parents should really think about what they went through as a kid and want better for their children and their selves. I think schools should teach healthy liv... Reasons of parental abuse are totally different from 3.rd parties. Parents generally have frustrations, not knowing how to raise a child and unaware of effects of an abuse etc. Others generally h... |
