What REALLY defines Child Abuse? |
because i feel my friend is being abused but the children services won't do anything... I knew a child that was being neglected. Physically she wasn't being harmed....emotionally and mentally, she was. Children's Services didn't do a thing even though several reports were filed (by myself and at least 3 others). I finally wrote an email to the county sheriff and begged him to check into it. That worked. Psychological/Physical pain that won't lead to the betterment of the child. Emotional needs are not being met. Neglect, starvation, cussing at the child to the point of low self esteem. Physically hitting the child in any way to potentially cause harm. All in all the child may be experiencing depression angry outbursts or holding in all in which is the worst to do. Abuse is anything you wouldn't want your parents to do to you. and if the child services will not do anything and you really feel like your friend is being abused, keep annoying them until they stopp being a bunch of idiots. Cuasing harm to the child What is happening that you think she is being abused? Well it means when a bad adult either doesent feed, provide shelter, clean clothes, and if the child is being neglected. Also it can mean the child it being beaten, it is sooooooo sad! Blood and/or broken bones Anything that causes physical or emotional harm to a child is abuse. Pursue the matter if you think you firned is in need, tell your parents, the school counsellor get someone to take notice. the infliction of physcial, emotional, or sexual pain. Or also neglect When a person under 18 is being abuse(beaten/hit) by an adult its called child abuse.If there over 18 and being hit/beaten its just regular abuse.If the person is under 18 and being hit/beaten by someone else who's under 18 its regular abuse. |

Ignorance of parental skills. ...NO! Some people CHOOSE! to continue the pattern but it is NOT hereditary. Some of the best parents I know were abused as kids. They decided to break the pattern and give their kids love and heal... why would you do that? Do you want that child to bounce up and down for hours from the sugar rush???
