Cause of child abuse? |
for assignment!!! pls reply as fast as posibble!! thank Ignorance of parental skills. Drug and alcohol abuse can cause violence towards ones child. Or previous abuse themselves. You could get this information a lot quicker doing a web search in a psychiatric journal. :) Power trip. It is easy to dominate someone who can not defend themselves. Child abuse ranks in my top 5 of unspeakable acts. People who abuse their children were usually abused themselves. Stress, or the children doing something that they themselves were abused for, can trigger the same response that THEY received from their parents. They can even do worse if they are under a lot of pressure. Same goes for sexual abuse. (Not always the parents, but often so). The casue of child abuse is mothers and fathers wanting to be in control. Or that's the way they were brought up and they don't know any better. |

NO! Some people CHOOSE! to continue the pattern but it is NOT hereditary. Some of the best parents I know were abused as kids. They decided to break the pattern and give their kids love and heal... why would you do that? Do you want that child to bounce up and down for hours from the sugar rush??? Seek help,Children do experiment with their own bodies at that age ,but sounds to me these kids had physicological problems.and as they brought you into it ,its left you with these guilt feelings,Y... I wouldn't call it abuse, but you could make the case for calling it neglect. Another factor is do the parents KNOW the consequences of their actions? If they aren't knowledgeable themsel...
