Is cerebral palsy a genetic disorder??

I need to do research on a genetic disorder, my teacher said I could do cerebral palsy, I can't find any information on which chromosome the disorder is found, if its recessive or dominant, or if its even related to genetics at all.

Cerebral palsy is not a genetic disorder at all. It's the result of brain trauma of some sort, usually at birth or shortly afterwards in early childhood. There is loads of information on the net regarding the various neurological disorders that get lumped into the category. A web search using cerebral palsy as your search term will bring up all you need and more.

CP is an injury before or during birth. It is not genetic.

Its not a genetic disorder, its a brain injury that can happen at the time of birth or just after it. You can find more about it here http://www.icddelhi.org/C_Therapy.html
