Do I have cerebral palsy / hemiplegia?

When I was born, the doctors told my parents that I was missing a dime shape out of my brain. They said I had Hemiplegia due to a Porencyphilic Cyst- a type of Cerebral Palsy. It affects the left side of my body. It does not affect my brain, and it has not worsened with age. I see myself as a normal person. Do I really have Hemiplegia?

If you don't have complete control of the left side of your body you have hemiplegia. It will not worsen with age. You ARE a normal person. Everyone has disabilities whether you can see them or not.

I would say yes to Cerebral Palsy and if you are not affected too much by it it would be more accurate to say you have Hemiparesis. Hemiplegia implies that you have no/little use of one side of the body. Report It

YOU should verify this information with a competent physician. Take his/her advice or get a second opinion, but don't just sit there and wonder about this "extremely serious matter." What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless
