Cellulitis? Or Worse? |
I have had a small bump approx 1/4 inch to the left of the top of my vertebrae where my neck and back meet. As far as I know it's probably cellulitis. There's no pain involved and no clue how it got there and answers are appreciated. cellulitis is painful. It doesn't sound like thats what you have at all. Cellulitis hurts, it is usually red, can have open skin areas, which may bleed and/or weep fluid, and it definately spreads bigger than a small 1/4 inch bump. It kindof sounds like you have a cyst of some sort. Try very warm compress to the area three times daily. If it starts to hurt or itch, go to the doc. Sabaceous cyst? |
