Cellulitis after lumpectomy? |
Has anyone else had cellulitis after a lumpectomy/radiation? So far I've had 12 IV antibiotics and am on oral antibiotics as well. It's getting better, but I'm curious if anyone else has had this and how long it took for the infection to clear up? I've also had to the get the breast drained twice as a lot of fluid was accumulating where the cancer was. Sorry to hear of your plight, I have not had cellulitis but occasional bouts of edema. I had a wonderful therapist I was working with for carpal tunnel syndrom in the wrist on the same side as the breast cancer, both were diagnosed within months of each other. She showed me some techniques to help with lymph drainage, without using pressure wraps. |
