A relative has celiac disease.?

a relative has celiac disease. is there any correlation between that & losing bowels at night?

Not really. Untreated Celiac can lead to all sorts of problems. I assume by losing bowels you mean being unable to control one's bathroom functions while sleeping? This is not a common problem of Celiac, but it could be one. Generally as long as a Celiac sticks strictly to the Gluten Free (not just wheat free) diet, they will be fine!

Now you should know that celiac is a HIGHLY hereditary and genetic condition so everyone closely related to the relative (1st and 2nd degree for sure) should be tested for Celiac as it is a genetic disease.

My mother in law has that and she has never lost at bowls yet !

Just keep off the wheat and she will be fine-and may even start winning at bowls
