Cavities down to the gumline? |
Does anyone else have any cavities down to the gumline and, if so, what have you had to do to correct it? My left bottom incisor has a cavity in it down to the gumline (and probably further, I don't know), and I have a few other teeth that have chipped away (esp my top 2 wisdom teeth, as well as the tooth before the wisdom on the bottom right, and now the same on on the left) and I brush and floss now to prevent any other cavities from forming. How can I save on money to get these fixed and would it be wise for me to have fake teeth put in place if the tooth can't be fixed right? Also, after this, would it be ok for me to get veneers put on cause I want my teeth to look better. Thanks a lot! Also, does having a tongue ring hurt teeth in any way? I've had mine for 3 years now. Could it be doig me harm in any way? The last time I had good teeth was in 2002 and since then I haven't had the money to see a dentist properly to get and keep them clean and checked up on regularly. Is there a way I can get free dental without having to sign up for a "crazy check?" that is one bad cavity you have, I have the same problem, I can see a hole already and I floss after every meal, I was told by the dentist that is possible that a root canal can fix the problem, if not they will have to do a bridge or implant. You have to go to the dentist and get xrays done on the tooth so they can look to see how deep it is and if it has affected any nerves. Getting an implant is really expensive like in the one thousands but getting all your teeth worked on could be even more expensive, so think about it. you should really have it looked at and replaced, it could be down in the nerve in which you'd need a root canal. |
