Eat candy + brush teeth well = no cavities???

I just got my braces off yesterday and am on a candy eating streak (caramels, hard candy, anything i couldn't eat with braces...) and I was wondering if you eat a few pieces of candy a day but brush your teeth and floss well each night, can you still get a cavity? Or are cavities genetic and no one can do anything about preventing them?

Primitive man did NOT get any cavities. He didn't get heart disease, cancer, and degenerative diseases in general. Dr. Weston A. Price traveled around the world to all the primitive cultures he could find that were not eating the modern man's diet. He took volumes of pictures, blood samples, food samples, and examined diets and life styles. He found the same thing around the world. Primitive people didn't have the diseases of modern man. They didn't use fluoride toothpaste either. They didn't have plaque build up on their teeth. Hmmm.

Modern man started introducing sugar into his diet about 400 years ago. So over 12,000 years, NO cavities. In the last 100 years, REFINED sugar, WHITE flour, and HYDROGENATED oils were introduced. Cavities are rampant now. Bacteria and bad food like sugar causes cavities and plaque build up. The same thing that causes cavities, causes heart disease. Cavities are NOT genetic.

Cavities are from the American Diet that is high in carbohydrates, sugars, and bad oils, like vegetable oils (Canola, Soybean, Cottonseed, and Corn Oils). Our genetics have changed only about 0.1% in the last 12,000 years. The answer is not magic or fluoride toothpaste, but change your diet to what the Primitive people did.

To learn about what they ate and did, get the book, "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Dr. Weston A. Price.

good luck to you
