Brushing cavities away? |
the dentist told me i have 2 tiny cavities. i have to get them filled in a couple dayss. since ive found out ive been brushing my teeth like crazy, it it possible that aybe i can brush my cavities away? brushing your cavities away is not possible because your tooth has already started to decay. A cavity occurs when you have too much plaque and the plaque eats away your enamel which causes a hole. Plaque is is glycolyx which is basically like your bathroom shower tile. It is like a sticky substance that collects all the bad germs and sticks to a surface, like your teeth. The germs make acid that eats your enamel. Too much brushing can cause further cavities as I've heard. There really isn't anything you can do. Your dentist has to fill in that hole or your tooth will rot away. Try to save your other teeth from future damage by brushing 2-3 times a day, flossing, limiting sugar intact and reframing from acidic drinks like coke because it eats your enamel away and that process is irreversible. Absolutely not No you cannot get rid of cavities without having them drilled out and filled at the dentist office. no, because cavities are holes; that's why you're getting them "filled" sorry, it's too late for that now. Cavities are holes in your teeth that bacteria have created. Simply brushing over holes won't fill them back up. Getting them filled by a dentist isn't half as bad as it sounds. |
