Kindly advise me as I am going for the Cataract Operation soon. What is the difference in qualities of cataract lens? Whiat is the plus and minus points of these lenses by usage and cost wise? Please also explain me the different types of cataract operations and which is good for me. I am senior citizen. Your suggetions are light to my eyes. In my opinion, phaco-emulsification with foldable lens is best for you. I would invite you to click on the website of OJAS LASER EYE SURGERY CENTER at http://www.lasikindia.com/html/aboutcata... to get a detailed overview on cataract, its different types and the various types of lenses. The cost of phaco-emulsification is reimbursible from Mediclaim. I am sure that after going through this site, you will be able to decide the best option for you. cataract operation is very normal now a days. it is a lazor operation and within an hour you can come back to your home with a bandage on the eye operated upon, next day the bandage will be removed and to wear dark glass for a week or so. Eye specialist will explain in details. cost depends upon the lens which u choose. whether it is local or imported. charges varies from 15000 to 50000 depends the area. all the best. phacoemulsification is the best procedure available nowadays, & it is available very freely. also the lens used in this procedure is also good & complication rate is also very low. but in all this research for a good lens, i would advice u to research for a good eye surgeon as he will be able to guide u best on what is best ur eyes. its easy, dnt worry.its jst a laser operation.u will b ok afterwardz.and it dnt take much time. |
