Cataract surgery won't help?

My Mom had cataract surgery a couple weeks ago and still sees blurry. The doctor said she is different than other people because she had 6 astigmatiziums(sp?) and other people don't usually have that many. She also has dry macular deneration and has glycoma but it's not the usual type, and I believe was fixed. Do you think eventually she'll see again or will she always be blurry now with no glasses to fix? I'm thinking maybe once she gets new glasses that the new prescription will work with what they did in the cataract surgery. Opinions?

She needs her astigmatism corrected with glasses. This will help a lot.
