Is Cataract curable for dogs? |
My griffon is 8 years old. She is suffering from cataract in the left eye. I can't bear to see the condition of her eye gradually worsening. Is there any hope to save her eye? A canine cataract is very treatable just as the human kind. These days the cataract can be removed and the lens replaced without any stitches and with a couple of days recovery time. Of course. It's easy to remove, as with humans. And the sooner you can get her the surgery, the better. Good luck to you both! If you're willing to spend a boatload of cash, they can give them the same treatment they give people. |
