Why does cataract occur AFTER retina detachment surgery? |
It has NOTHING to do with old age!!!!! Sometimes cataract occurs after retinal detachment surgery even if you are only 25. But why does that happen?? If it involves beaming a laser through the lens to repair the retina, any scarring of the lens could provide excess resistence to any light or photon beams it's exposed to. Resistence like friction is expressed in heat which travels according to the substrate in which it emminates. |
