Redness for 2 weeks after cataract surgery?

My aunt just had a cataract surgery 2-3 weeks ago, and her eyes have been red for these few weeks. There's no pain, but she seems worried. Is there any problem?

Hey yes it is common to have redness my great gram had the same thing done this summer at 82 years old and it took almost 5-6 weeks before the redness was almost all gone she went back for her checkup and also was concerned about the redness as well, he told her it was due to irritation, not infection or any other complications and to continue using the eye drops and everything should be ok in a few weeks and everything is good now turns out he was right
