What's best prevention for cataract? |
Only 10% people up to 90 years old can avoid cataract, how do they manage that? Can this disease be reversed? Will only people with the perfect vision avoid the disease? Cataract is a very vast and highly specialized field for ophthalmologist. |

I had it done on both eyes. I was told to watch the lifting & also to try to stop sneezes & hard coughing for a few days because it could do damage. your optomologist should tell you these ... Don't ask us laymen, ask her doctors for God's sake ...I'll try to be thorough , and if you need any thing e-mail me - you can choose to have any monocular lens you want , either to see near perfectly and use glasses for distance or the reverse ... If you just had cataract surgery recently and your vision is getting worse you should call the surgeon now. If you had surgery a while ago and now it is getting fuzzy you might need a membrane zapp... Pupil reactions will normally be normal, after both surgeries, though there is a small risk of having fixed or irregularly shaped pupils. The retina wouls still retain its light-adaptive propertie... My mom had this done when she was about 60 and it was 750 $ an eye. She had worn glasses prior and they also inserted these permanent contact len's into each eye. This one done thru mt carme... You should call your eye doctor and describe what is going on ASAP. ...Sunderland Eye Infirmary is reputed to be the best in the country for cataract surgery.But how you would get in there i cant tell you.I hope this helps. ... |
