Has anyone had Cat Scratch Disease? |
I'd like to know how it progressed after the lymphs swelled up and what finally happened? Mass under my arm is turning red and not going down. Docs don't know anything and I've been to them already, so don't say go to the doctor. I've given U several that will give U all the information that U will need. See & visit these sites. Ted Nugent once had cat scratch fever, but i don't think its taken very seriously anymore. I've had it but treated it with antibiotics before it got deep into my lymph nodes. My understanding is that it will eventually go away...but you really should go back to your doctor or another doctor. They may be able to drain the nodes and/or assess other causes or treatments. You must go back to the doctor this needs penicillin,This is possibly septicemia /infection.Do you have a red line running up the inside of your arm ,if so it could be blood poisoning.Cat bites and scratches are the second worst kind of wounds to receive and a high percentage become infected.Lindsay. |
