Carpal Tunnel Syndrome???

Is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome a constant pain? Or can it be on and off? My wrist hurts every 2-3 months and for 2-3 weeks.

I did brake my wrist in 4th grade, but im in 8th now... :S. i can't do push ups either or put pressure on it

This is not carpal tunnel syndrome. It sounds more like a sprain. If it continues and becomes bothersome consider consulting with your doctor.

It could be tendonitis, which is when your tendons get overstretched or swell, then you get pain. I have tendonitis in my wrists, so I can't do pushups or anything that overextends my wrists. I'm not sure if carpal tunnel hurts on and off, but I do know that one of the signs of carpal tunnel is tingling in your fingers, like they are asleep.

You should see a doctor and have it diagnosed. See the doctor when you are hurting so you will be able to describe the problem better. You are so young -- the doctor might tell you what you need to do in order to make the problem better, or give you some exercises to strengthen the wrist muscles if that is the appropriate way to go.

Hello, I am Matt Gitkin, the VP for a new start up company that is hoping to bring a new FDA Approved medical device to the marketplace within the coming year. The Device is called Carpal-Ease and the company is called Pain Mediations, Inc. Information can be found at our site http://www.carpal-ease.com there is also a guest sheet to fill out so we can keep you updated on the companies activity. We are in the throes of completing a clinical study at NYC's Beth Israel Hospital and thus far the data is showing excellent results for us. So, if all goes well - next year Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Stress Iinjury sufferers will have a proven and tested way to releive themselvs from pain. Let's hope....
