HELP!! I have been with Mild Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for a year now.?

I have been with Mild Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for a year now. I got it because the place I was working in wasn鈥檛 very ergonomic. I went to a hand specialist and they told me to stop using the computer for 1 month and I wasn鈥檛 able to do to my job. Eventually I stopped working there and my hands got better but the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome never left. I need further advice on what I can do to completely get rid of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome it鈥檚 a very annoying experience especially when you have dealt with it for a year. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, I have used the anti inflammatory medication, the wrist brace and I spend over $2,000 dollars in a Chiropractor who specializes in Active Release Technique which is suppose to get rid of CTS.

Did you wear the splint over night? Often that can help. I would recommend you also try to use ice to calm the inflammation. Try this...place a half-filled with water paper cup in the freezer and once frozen peel back half of the cup to expose part of the ice and rub that on your wrist for 4-5 mins until the area is numb. You will have to push through some uncomfortable sensations to get to the point that it is numb.

they /do surgery/ BUT/ it /does/ come back/ on/ some people

I have the same problem.. stupid technology,
im gonna go play xbox360 now..
