Is it common, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome but on the foot??

At times, i wake up at night with a sensation on my foot like i can't move it or feel it and i have to keep shaking it cause it feels sooo weird. kind of like pins and needles. I mostly get it on my big foot, yeah i got one slightly bigger foot. Is it something like carpal tunnel syndrome in the hands?

There is something called Tarsal Tunnel...it's like carpal tunnel only it's in the feet. I've had it, and the symptoms are nothing like what you have described. Basically what happens is your foot/feet swell for no reason at all, then the pain is unbearable. It affects the tendons, nerves, and ligaments in your feet and ankles. I had to get cortisone shots in my feet to cure it. Good luck!
