Help! Is it possible to have carpal tunnel syndrome from carrying a baby for months now? |
Especially when I breastfeed my baby in lying position, my entire arm becomes numb and painful. I'm also having difficulty moving my thumb. Occasionally my middle and ring finger gets numb (pin and needle sensation) even when Im not carrying her. You can get all sorts of hand and arm problems from carrying a baby; I know someone who did. Carpal tunnel is one of many RPI's. Try the book, "It's not carpal tunnel" for some good advice. Omg my arm was like that for 6 months til I realized that I could put my son down.. Go see your dr. and call a LeLeche League in your area.. Breast feeding pillows will help also... no your just out of shape or pulled or strained your arm.you are pinching a nerve im sure you have heard the saying before |
