Have you tried Celebrex for carpal tunnel syndrome, and is it any better than Aleve?

if it works SO MUCH better than aleve, then i'll do it, but at $115 for a 30 day supply, versus about $10 for generic naproxen, i'm not really enthusiastic about trying celebrex...

answer if you've tried Celebrex, even if you didn't use it for carpal tunnel syndrome.

I use Celebrex for Lupus pain. I was using Vioxx before they took it off the market. Before that, I was using Aleve, but I had to take a LOT of it. Aleve works faster than Celebrex. When you first start taking Celebrex, you might find you don't feel any relief for a whole day or more. And you need to take it every day, or else you have to go through that waiting period when are in pain and you DO need it again. When you take Aleve, you can just take it when you need it. I used to take Naprosyn (similar to naproxen) but it started to hurt my stomach. I also took that every day. My doctor's advice to me was since I needed to take it everyday, the Celebrex was easier on my body than the Aleve. And I have decent drug coverage so my co-pays aren't bad. There also might be a cheaper, generic, NSAID that is relatively easy on you, like Celebrex, but affordable, like Naprosyn. You might want to ask your doctor or pharmacist.
