What can I do about my carpal tunnel syndrome? What are some at-home remedies?

I have a painful case of carpal tunnel in both of my wrists. I type all the time, so that could be part of it. I wear a brace on one hand, and I wrap gauze around the other. Are there any home remedies I could try?

I type more than I have to, but I do have to type some because I take a computer class.

warm compresses, dont over use

i have cts in both wrists as well, also tendonitis in both elbows. from 20 years of construction, gripping hammers and screw guns. hurts like heck doesn't it? i really feel for u. now i haven't found many home remedies that work, and the only one that seemed to help at all, isn't very pleasant. but here goes, drink about 2 to 4 ounces of brown vinegar every day. tastes nasty, but u should see results within a week. want something not so nasty, try aleve, only one a day though, they're rough on stomach
