Has anyone ever used acupuncture for carpal tunnel syndrome on their hands and wrists? |
I got carpal tunnel during my pregancy and it went away after I had my baby and now 6 months later it has come back. I am getting more pain everyday, and I do spend time at a computer for my work. Hello - ... I have had a good deal of experience with acupuncture and have trained in and used Chinese medicine in my work with people. In my opinion,.. acupuncture would not really be a solution to carpal tunnel syndrome. ... It may provide you with temporary relief,.. but if the underlying problem, (which originates in your central nervous system), is not cleared,.. the problem will remain and most likely worsen. .... Obviously the way you are over-using your body in a specific way is largely at cause here,.. and you need to learn how to counteract the effects of your work on your wrist. ... Acupuncture will not help you, only in short-term. Only way to fully help you is to go to doctor's. They'll give you wrist pads, then possibly next is an operation, depending on your severity. yes and it dosent take care of the problem you need to be tested |
