Carpal Tunnel Syndrome...? |
ok I've been scared about this for a while and want to clear things up The hyper extension of flexing your wrist up and down will help CAUSE carpel tunnel. I'v not heard of anything to avoid it. What causes it is repetitive motion. So, I guess if you quit the repetitive motion, it will. But I highly doubt you want to do that. My dad, as well as wikipedia, told me to take breaks when i'm doing something like typing. so keep drumming but make sure to put in some breaks! i don't mean long term breaks-- i just mean a few minutes to rest your wrist. Carpal tunnel syndrome is where the tendons from your fore arm muscles get inflamed and they dont' fit in the tunnel. |
