Does carpal tunnel syndrome only affect the hand or?

can it also affect the arm?

I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it can affect not only the hands but the arms, shoulder and neck. Sometimes why hands will go numb and I will ache all the way to my neck.

It affects the hand, wrist, and forearm.

The carpal tunnel is part of the wrist. Carpal tunnel thus at times may impare the arm .

it can affect ur fingers, hand, wrist, and lower arm. Sometimes when mine is bothering me it does extend all the way up the whole arm.
