Does caregivers really have to be discriminated when compared to nurses? |
Does caregivers really have to be discriminated when compared to nurses? I'm guessing that you are referring to CNA's. As far as discrimination, I don't believe this to be true. CNA's are very important in the medical field.Their job is not easy and can be quite stressful. I think that maybe you feel that some Nurse's can be less than grateful and sometimes even bit**y. I have known Nurse's that can be that way but, they can also behave the same way to other Nurse's. I started as a CNA during my teenage years so, I know how demanding and stressful this job can be. I went on to become a RN. I have always been appreciative of CNA's and often times, I will take on a patient assignment along with my Nursing duties. I hope that this answer is what your question was referring to. As a caregiver, if you are being treated unfairly, then you need to speak to Nurse Manager. What do you mean by discriminated? This question is quite vague. Caregivers are not being discriminated, it is only a perception in the Philippines that they are being discriminated. If you are abroad, you will see that they are treated the same as nurses. |
