Are they any sources that could help pay in home caregivers for my mother who has dementia?

I have become frustrated in the lack of goverment funded services for the elderly. I need to pay caregives in the home to tend to my mohter because she has dementia(and other health problems). Does anyone know of any funded grants, private sources that I may apply for. My resources are tapped out. We live in Texas.

medicare payed for my mothers inhome care...give them a call...contact 1-800-MEDICARE 24 hours a day, 7 days a week them a call...

Call your local hospital and ask for a social worker. they should be able to put you in contact with organizations that can help you. I did this when my mother in law had Alzheimer's. I even got the name of a lawyer specializing in elder law. It's a horrible disease, and so hard on the caregiver. Make sure to be persistent in your search, don't give up. You can't do this alone.
