I would like to chat with people who are caregivers for alzheimers parents they take care of. Help? I know a little about Alzheimer's although my parents don't suffer with this illness but my boyfriends mother does. I met his mum for the 1st time through the web cam the other night and Boy was everything he was telling me sooo true. Don't get me wrong..I've known my fella for 13 years (it's another story) but i do sympathize with you babe..if you're taking care of a parent with this illness then "Big up yourself"... you are stronger than you think cos i don't think i could do it..but in saying that if there was no other options everybody would have to, You are not alone honey. Feel free to get in-touch...but you have got to take care of your own health otherwise 2 lives are wasted. Be strong and I'm thinking of your situation., you're doing good. God Bless the pair of you. i used to be a C.N.A the best advice that i can give is try to get into there world. if today they think that they are twenty years old then go with it, its to hard on them to force a reality they can't handle or comprehend. |
