On the back of her insurance card there should be a number for you to call and ask that question. Insurance companies and policies vary so you need to talk to them directly. If you find she does not have that coverage...contact your local health dept and they should be able to advise you of where to look next. Many social services agencies help you get this care, as do hospitals, and Dr's offices.

probably not....unless she has a long term health policy it would cover some of her care! check into it!

Check with the local hospital or her physician to see if Hospice is available. I do not know a whole lot about it but from my understanding, it is a community funded program offering nurses to come to your mothers home X amount of hours a week to help with things she is unable to do herself. Also check into MEALS on Wheels. They bring meals at a very little cost to elderly.

We can't possibly guess, since we don't know her insurance company. Obviously, her doctor would have to write a letter stating she needs it. Why don't you go talk to her doctor and tell us which insurance she has? Perhaps someone here would have the same company.

o yes they do depending on what type of coverage she has and she might even get assistance from the state i would call your DHS department in your city..
