CAUTION; SOMETHING IS KILLING THE DIABETICS OUT THERE,...What is it?

Diabetic advice completes the process of success and shared experience, the Diabetic Basics are a must. When making suggestion's proper warning should be installed; CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR OR CAREGIVER BEFORE ALTERING ANY DIABETIC REGIMENT OR PROCEDURE, this would include Insulin, exercise, General Diabetic Treatment. You're Doctor or Caregiver is your life line, and you are proof that his or hers' Diabetic Treatment works, tailored for you. Altering Diabetic records recorded for your Doctor or Caregiver will not be tolarated and will catch up with you, think about it? When accepting Diabetic Advice,...make it the first words out of your Diabetic mouth,...I'll check with My Doctor or Caregiver, Thank you for your advice.
EXPERIENCE is a suggestion, not the answer!
When you think every Diabetic should know to check with their Doctors or Caregivers before making a change, bring this to mind,... SOME DON'T.

Since, for some reason, your email function isn't working, I'm forced to use this forum to answer you. First, in order to avoid a violation for not answering, your answer:

What is killing diabetics is lack of knowledge. Knowledge is power. You can't know too much about this. In fact, in a few months, with a little diligence, you can learn more than "your doctor or caregiver".

Now regarding your other question, "How come you answer a question with a question?"

My reply: You said, "Seems like you are getting all over everybody for trying, a little encouragement would go a long way."

I've been all over my answers and your questions and answers and am still mystified as to what you're talking about. If you're referring to my reply to your question about your book/website... that wasn't a question... it was a suggestion to improve your writing skills. The only time I answer a question with a question is to illustrate the absurdity of the question being posed... and I always pose an answer, lest I be charged with a frivolous violation. So give me an example next time your fertile imagination compels you to write such a superfluous note.

I think the key word in your statement is "seems". It seems to me that you have certain issues that can only be solved by your doctor or caregiver. I prefer to learn all I can about an issue to the point where I know more than my doctor or caregiver. If I had subscribed to your theories, I would be dead. Doctors don't know everything. Neither do know-it-alls. As you become wiser, perhaps you'll come to realize that you don't know nearly as much as you thought you did.

Happy trails,

Mr Peachy is on the dime once again... what is a blowhard? Report It

Is this a question, or a rant?

It sounds like this bozo needs a 10ml dose of Humalog, all at once.

p.s. George D, regarding the email you just sent me. Yahoo's autocensor bleeped 90% of it out, so it must not have been important.

Doctors and caregivers operating with antiquated information. It doesn't take that much to learn more than your average doctor or cargiver. The information is out there. Peachy seems to have done her homework, why don't you?

You seem to have misdiagnosed the problem. It's not that people are not listening to their "doctors or caregivers"... it's that they haven't gotten the right information from them. You seem to be operating under the THEORY that doctors and caregivers know everything. The fact is, they know precious little. If they were as wise as you seem to think, they would have a cure now, wouldn't they? They don't. In the mean time, be quiet and let people decide for themselves what works and what doesn't. There's plenty of very useful alternative as well as mainstream information that hasn't found its way into doctor's and caregiver's offices just yet. Oh, by the way, won't you please learn to spell and punctuate properly? It would help make your weak argument a little more palatable... even though triple digit IQ holders will still find most of the holes in it. You really ought to consider sticking with changing spark plugs and leave the thinking to people who are firing on all cylinders.
