Would changing careers from dental to nursing would be a good thing?

Many students change their majors several times during college. Why did you pick dental in the first place? What don't you like about that career now? What does nursing provide for a lifetime career?

Think forward five years, then ten, then twenty. What do you want out of your life and your professional career?

You may want to seek out counseling to help you make the decision and focus on issues why you have doubts. There is nothing wrong with counseling; that is why it is available to students.

Just remember your career is for you, not a relative or a significant other.

I personally would say no, but I am going to school for dental hygiene right now :-)
I think the pay is pretty close in scale..but I feel like nursing would be more stressful and I don't like all the different "duties" nurses have to do...But you have to decide what's right for you :-)
