What careers or professions should you steer away from if you have Herpex Simplex Virus?

No president has ever had a cold sore, nor any of my teachers that I can remember. Anything else? I would image customer service and public eye positions the most.

That's ridiculous.

No president has ever had a cold sore that you have SEEN of. I can guarantee you AT LEAST one president, if not several of them have had cold sores.

It's estimated about 75 - 80% of the WOLRD has cold sores. And, you don't have to physically have a sore on your lip in order to have herpes. Herpes remains dormant in a persons body and certain foods, activies, stress, etc, can "trigger" the virus, causing an outbreak.

Have you ever had chickenpox before? Guess what? You have herpes. Chickenpox is caused by herpes simplex virus 3. There is no cure for chickenpox, but people are able to "fight it off" and usually don't have problems later on. Sometimes the virus will flare up again which causes shingles.

It's more common to have cold sores then to not have them! It's nothing to be ashamed of. BILLIONS of people have them!

Porn

Everybody has this virus, HSV-1. Just because it expresses itself on you now is not a reason to change a career.

If you have HSV-2 (genital herpes), the lady said porn. But it can also be on your hands, ask your doctor.

By the way, presidents use makeup.

Actually 66% of all porn stars have genital herpes, so that is not an issue!

Do you really think that presidents, teachers, or any career field excludes people who have the herpes virus? 90% of Americans will get type 1, and about 25% have type 2.

I am a teacher, and I have it. So do many doctors, lawyers, attys, dentists, and members of every other career field.

This is a virus that nearly everyone has in some form. It is silly to think that there is any box on the application that reads, "Do you have herpes?"

any thing thast involves a sex act i would not tell you to do it like . porn. teaching. any think that involves close contact. my opion?

This is ridiculous. Where do you people come from?

Many people have herpes without ever having an outbreak. So these people you claim don't have cold sores could very likely have herpes and either not have had an outbreak at the time, or haven't had an outbreak at all. Appareantly 90% of the population has some form of the herpes virus. Should people who have a disease just stop living or go in hiding? There is no profession a person with herpes should not pursue.

you shouldn't steer away from any career or profession, you're still a human being and you have the rights to make money and live a normal life just like anybody else, don't limit yourself to anything just because you have a virus that almost 90% of americans have.

"No president ever had a cold sore?"

Bill Clinton was practically a porn star.

I don't think there is a single profession that would be off limits to someone with herpes.
