Questions for nurses about nursing careers?

1. what type of nurse are you?
2. how many hours a day do u usually work?
3. how many days a week do you work?
4. how much money do u make?

I do Case Management now-- I am an RN. I've done Medical, Surgical, Radiology, Short Stay in hospitals and Home Health and Nursing Homes.
Now I work 5 days/40 hours a week. Most of the 'floor' nurses work 12 hour shifts. I work 8 hours, actually 8-1/2 with 1/2 hour for lunch.
Over $70,000 per year, but that is with 39 years of experience.

Nurses should wake up to the power they hold. There is such a shortage. It is because they are helpers, they will not stand up for themselves. I think strikes don't help, but I do think nurses have far more power than they realize.

Well i know one thing.. they make a lot of money!! hehe..
makes me wanna be a nurse.. hehe
