What kinds of careers/majors are there that seek a new medicine for Alzheimer's disease?

I don't have a list - but the most obvious ones are scientists, doctors, chemists. You could check with your local Alzheimer Chapter (listed in the phone book). Are you wanting a career in this field? I hope so - the more people working on this disease - the sooner the cure.
Unfortunately, my mother passed away last June from Alzheimer's after suffering for over 10 long years. It is hereditary, too - so maybe the cure will be here before I get it.
