Alternative treatment for dilated cardiomyopathy in children?

my 3years old son is suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy since he was 6 months old. we are giving best possible allopathic treatment available at present in india.as per recent echo, his e/f is >38%,f/s is >16%,pulse is around 85 per minute.

treatment for DCM can be varied only by the type of medicine that is available. The physician will usually prescribe a diuretic with a K+ supplement, digoxin or some other similar medicine, Coreg if the patient can tolerate it. These meds lower the patient's blood pressure. The physician should decide what is best for that particular patient. An EF of >38% is not too bad. Normal EF is about 60%.

You have my sympathy. I am not familiar with the condition, but did find these links:

Your best alternative is of course a heart transplant. In the meantime, I agree with Blain
