Does cardiomyopathy contraindicate massage? What are the physiological effects w/massage.?

I am doing a report on dilated cardiomyopathy. I need to know whether this pathology is contraindicated/indicated. I know, in general it's not a good idea to massage any one with circulatory issues, but i've heard different opinions. Massage increases blood flow, but if if there is a back up in the heart, couldn't massage be dangerous? Blood clots could be forming on the chamber walls of the heart and if we are pushing blood through the body, the clots could dislodge? Thanks so much!

are you pre med student or high school, a back massage will not affect the heart , a leg massage may move a clot if there is one but the person would know it by the pain they would experience , hence the answer is no
